I painted this right before I got married. To put it prosaically, I was freaking out :-) I was trying to reconcile what it meant to be both in partnership *and* free. What I ended up learning – and experiencing – is that the truest sense of freedom is one where you actively choose your own constraints 🕊

This piece is my expression of this idea, in this moment of time, for me.
